3-year-old Padres fan can name every player on the team

Where was he when the Padres were hiring a new PA announcer? Oh, right... he was only a few months old.

If someone asked you to name every player on the Padres roster, how many do you think you would get? There's probably a good chance that you wouldn't get them all, not necessaarily because you're a bad fan or anything like that, but it can be hard to keep track of them all and be able to name them off the top of your head.

But 3-year-old Padres fan Kameron Brummer can do just that. This video, posted by his mother, Sonja, on YouTube last week, has been making the rounds on social media and capturing the hearts of Padres fans everywhere. This kid is amazing and he puts us all to shame with his knowledge of the team, not to mention his enthusiasm.

As someone who loves the Padres and not only watches almost every single game but looks closely at the lineups every day when I post them here on Gaslamp Ball, I still can't see myself being able to name every Friar with the ease and zeal that Kameron displays.

I can't decide what my favorite part is. I love the way he pronounces "Hunter Renfroe." I also love when he proclaims #8 "Justin Upton!" and then argues that Upton is #8 (he's not wrong!).

What makes this even better is that it appears Kameron's learned this talent from his older (5-year-old) brother. These kids give me hope for the future of this fandom.

Now I'm off to memorize the entire Padres roster. ✌️
