The Padres have made two happy announcements:

While the return of rookie centerfielder Manuel Margot is good news for the team and for fans alike. The arrival of the son of social media darling Chase d'Arnaud takes precedence as a real life event. Congrats to Chase and his lovely wife Kaitlyn for bringing little Jagger into this world.

Back in the sports world, Manuel Margot has missed the last month due to a strained calf. After being confined to a boot and then being limited to field exercises, Margot finally was assigned to a rehab assignment last week. The big league club has been in need of some on-base skills, and Margot is the top-of-the-order type of player to bring a spark to the offense.
