The Padres play their second home game in a row tonight, playing host to the visiting Texas Rangers. The evening game will feature a pitching matchup between San Diego's veteran lefty Clayton Richard and Texas right-hander Nick Martinez. Also, back in the lineup after some time spent away for the World Baseball Classic will be Yangervis Solarte.

Richard will be making his first of three remaining Spring Training appearances tonight. In his previous three outings, he's thrown 7 1/3 innings, allowing 11 runs (10 earned) on 15 hits, four walks, and two hit batsmen. He's also only recorded one strikeout this Spring.

Martinez, who was drafted by the Rangers in 2014, will be entering his third Major League season, hopefully as a starter. Tonight will be his fifth Spring appearance. After two strong outings to start his Spring, his struggled through his last two, pitching a combined 4 1/3 innings and giving up 13 earned runs on 14 hits and three walks.

Catch tonight's TV broadcast on Fox Sports San Diego / MLB.TV. Game starts at 7:10 pm PT.
