The Padres are coming off a wild win last night at home against the Dodgers. Brett Wallace hit a bases-loaded walk-off grounder to win it in mid-season form for San Diego. They have a quick turnaround after that night game, hitting the road and taking the field at Hohokam Stadium in Mesa, where they'll face the Oakland Athletics in an early afternoon matchup.

The rotation battle continues for the Padres, with today's starter Luis Perdomo vying for one of those coveted spots. It'll be his third Cactus League start, following up a couple of altogether decent outings earlier this month. In a total of 5 2/3 innings this Spring, he's allowed two runs on six hits (one home run) and two walks, with four strikeouts to his credit. He's looking to follow up a rookie season that saw him thrust into a starting role one-third of the way in and finish with a 9-10 record, 5.71 ERA, and 1.59 WHIP.

The A's will send their Opening Day starter, Kendall Graveman, to the mound opposite Perdomo. He's making his fourth appearance of the Spring, having thrown 6 2/3 innings and giving up three earned runs on six hits and three walks. Last season he went 10-11 with a 4.11 ERA and 1.31 WHIP.

Game time is set for 1:05 pm PT and you can listen live on FM 94.9 or MLB At-Bat.
