After a couple of baseball-less days, the 2017 World Series is set to start tonight, not far from us in San Diego. Two former division rivals will battle it out for the title as the Houston Astros take on the Los Angeles Dodgers, beginning this evening at Dodger Stadium. Many have taken to calling this the "Century Series" due to the distinction of both teams having reached 100 wins during the regular season.

The Astros are making their second ever appearance in the World Series after collecting 101 wins in the regular season. They went on to go 3-1 against the Red Sox in the American League Division Series, and then defeating the Yankees in an exciting Game 7 in the AL Championship Series. This will be their first trip to the Fall Classic since becoming an American League team in 2013.

The Dodgers won 104 games in the regular season, swept the Arizona Diamondbacks in the National League Division Series, and knocked out the defending World Series champion Chicago Cubs in five games in the NL Championship Series. Led by former Padres player/coach Dave Roberts, they'll try to use their home field advantage over these first two games to get a head start in the series.
