Former Radio Host, Coach John Kentera, is still well connected in San Diego and within the Padres organization. He tweets that he’s hearing rumors that changes are coming after the All-Star Game. I interpreted his tweets as hints that it might be in the Padres Front Office by the way he disqualifies A.J. Preller. While I have long hoped President Mike Dee would move on soon after the ASG, I don’t think it’s him. I get the feeling it’s Ron Fowler who’s leaving.
I keep hearing their could be some changes with the Padres after the all star game. It won't be A.J. Preller have to give the man some time.

As Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports has suggested Ron Fowler may be soon giving up his Executive Chairman role, while majority owner Peter Seider asserts his control. It’s been said that Fowler only agreed to the Chairman role for 5 years and that time is quickly coming to an end. His impatience and frustration has been showing and might be a sign of his transition. A change at the high level could mean more changes will trickle down.
