The Padres have hit the road again for their final stretch of games before the All-Star Break. Today they kick off a series against the NL West rival Diamondbacks in Arizona.

Luis Perdomo takes the hill for the Fourth of July, seeking his second win as a starter this season. His last time out was one of his better starts this year. He allowed three earned runs on seven hits through six innings against the Reds at Great American Ballpark. He’s already made four appearances - all relief outings - against the Dbacks this season. In those four outings he pitched a combined 5 1/3 innings and allowed two earned runs on five hits and a pair of walks, but also struck out seven batters.

Archie Bradley will get the ball for Arizona and make his second career start against San Diego. He pitched against them back in May at Chase Field, and his career-high 7.1-inning performance was good enough to land him a win. Aside from keeping the Padres to just three runs on four hits and a walk, he also collected nine strikeouts in that outing. Bradley is only 3-3 with a 4.50 ERA in 2016, but is coming off his best, and longest, month of the year. After making only three appearances through April and May, June saw him make six starts while posting a 3.67 ERA.
