All-Star legends will share stories at Sycuan Casino

With the All-Star Break less than three weeks away, the hype is stronger than ever in San Diego. If you’re like me, and don’t have your hands on tickets to the All-Star Game at Petco Park, you’re probably looking for different ways to join in on the festivities.

Sycuan Casino is adding yet another event in the days leading up to the All-Star Break. In addition to things like ASG FanFest and All-Star Sunday, you can head out to Sycuan for their All-Star Legends Series, running July 5th-7th from 8:00 to 11:00 pm. This series will take place at Sycuan’s Live & Up Close Theater. Padres number-retiree Steve Garvey will host the three-night event, which will feature Goose Gossage, Reggie Jackson, and another Padres number-retiree, Dave Winfield.

Join us for an exciting 3-day series of events featuring some of baseball’s all-time greats! Hear them retell their favorite stories and memories with host Steve Garvey at Sycuan’s intimate Live & Up Close theatre.

You can buy general admission tickets for the event here. It’s $25 per person, and you must be 21 or up to attend. The venue is relatively small, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the event sells out or gets pretty crowded, so if you’re interested in attending I would snag tickets soon. It seems like it’ll be a fun three nights and I’m interested to hear what kind of stories these guys will share. As much as I despise that Sycuan sign atop the batter's eye at Petco Park, those guys have teamed up with the Padres for some really fun and unique events, so I have no doubt this will be a good time.
