MLB Draft 2016: Day Three open thread

Today is the conclusion of the 2016 MLB First-Year Player Draft. Yesterday the Padres went after pitching - lots of pitching. Seven pitchers made up the team’s first seven draft picks on Day Two, with a sole position player selected in the final round of the day.

• #204 overall (7th round): Canisius High School (NY) LHP Dan Dallas
• #234 overall (8th round): Cornerstone University LHP Benjamin Sheckler
• #264 overall (9th round): Wright State University RHP Jesse Scholtens
• #294 overall (10th round): Texas A&M 2B Boomer White
