A great deal of the Padres players, along with manager Andy Green, have traveled to Mexico City for a couple games against the Astros, but a lot of the guys have stayed back and will be managed by bench coach Mark McGwire. Tonight they'll be taking on the Rangers, beginning at 6:05 pm. The Friars' Opening Day starting pitcher Tyson Ross gets the start, opposing San Diego native Cole Hamels.
