After winning back-to-back series with a record of 4-2, the Padres will continue their road trip in Milwaukee where they'll try to keep the momentum going against the Brewers.
Kicking things off for the Padres will be Tyson Ross, who has pitched much better lately, and much better on the road overall this season. In his last eight games he's gone 4-1 while posting a 2.49 ERA and keeping opponents batting just .194. This will be his fourth career outing against Milwaukee after going 2-1 with a 3.44 ERA in his first three tries.
The Brewers will send Wily Peralta to the mound for his 11th start overall this season, and his second start since returning from the disabled list (oblique) six days ago. In his first start back, he kept the Giants to two runs on five hits in six innings of work to earn the win. He's only faced the Padres once before in his career. He allowed three runs (two earned) on six hits in 6 1/3 innings last April.
