I saw a tweet in my timeline yesterday saying that the 2015 Padres were afraid of .500. Forgive me, I forgot who it was, but their point was that the Padres could climb back to near .500 but just couldn't seem to win that last game to put them at or above .500. In my mind I agreed with them, especially considering the way the Padres were blown out by the Cardinals the very same day on their march to .500.
This morning however I went back to check to see the Padres' record when they were one game below .500. It's happened 10 times this season and their record is 6-4. They haven't been at .500 since they were 32-32 on June 13th.
So there you go.
