Vote for Series MVP.

Another series win for the Padres. This time it came against the team with the best record in baseball, the St.. Louis Cardinals.  The two wins in the series got the Padres to within 2 games of .500 and 6.5 games of the lead in the NL West with 38 games remaining in the season.

IT IS NOT OVER.

The Padres came out swinging hard and pitching fast in the first two games of the series to get the series victory. The third game didn't go quite the same way, but it happens.

In the last series, Yangervis Solarte was voted the Series MVP with 61% of the vote over Melvin Upton Jr.

This was a great series for the offense and pitching. I mean, good enough that I really don't want to go back into the boxscores and look at all the stats and junk all over again.

So, just close your eyes and remember the games from this past weekend.

The glorious pitching, the wonderful hitting.

Cashner's hair. Jankowski's hair.

Kennedy's strikeouts. Wallace's home run.

Doubles and triples and singles. Oh my.

Alright, now open your eyes before you start thinking about Sunday's game.

Oh, that's right. Your eyes are closed and you can't read this.

I'll wait.

You back? Here with me again? Cool.

So, use what you saw in your mind's eye and vote in the poll for the Series MVP.
