All-Star Game Voting Update: Norris and Upton make gains

In last week's All-Star Game voting update, Derek Norris had shamefully fallen out of the top five, and Justin Upton was stuck in seventh behind Hunter Pence, who has only played in 18 games. Apparently that lit a fire under some people, because today's update is much better for the Padres' top two candidates.

Norris leapfrogged former Friar Yasmani Grandal to jump into fourth place, but top-two vote-getters Yadier Molina and Buster Posey have over two million more votes, so he's still got a long road to Cincinnati. The outfield voting is a little bit closer, but it's still a reach for San Diego's best hope. Justin Upton crossed the million-vote mark, but still needs to make up 600,000 votes and pass three other outfielders to make the starting lineup. Andrew McCutchen, Nori Aoki, and Giancarlo Stanton stand between him and the Midsummer Classic.

There's still three more weeks of voting, so get out there and cast your ballot!
