In case you missed it, San Diego got some much-needed rain earlier today. The tarp is on the field at Petco Park, and it's possible we may be looking at a rain delay tonight. I blame the Mariners, naturally.
And as we've learned this season, the Padres' (specifically the Padres relievers') go-to rainy day activity is ultimate frisbee. And sure enough, they're at it again today.
When you can't take BP because of the rain, you play frisbee. @Padres @Mighty1090 pic.twitter.com/akLqt5P5zo

Lookie who's starting at second base today. Hi, Gyorko! Sad to see Spangy hit the DL, but excited for the opportunity this creates for our boy Jedd to rejoin the big league club and start mashing.
Pat Murphy's Kemp-leadoff experiment seems to be working, and will continue tonight in the opener against the hated Mariners.
Hopefully IPK can get his stuff together and lead us to victory.
GO FRIARS!! KEEP THE FAITH!!
