Game 46 Preview: 05/25 Padres @ Angels

Jake Roth-USA TODAY Sports

The Padres will get in some interleague play up the road in Anaheim this evening, following an 11-3 victory over the Dodgers in L.A. Tyson Ross gets the ball to open up the series, the Padres' first at Angel Stadium since 2009.

In his first nine starts this season, Ross is 2-4 with a 3.93 ERA. This will be the ninth career appearance and fifth start against the Angels. He is 1-1 with a 1.78 ERA in those eight games. Both of his decisions came at Angel Stadium, where he pitched six games, including all four of his starts, and posted a 2.03 ERA.

Angels starter Jered Weaver is 2-0 in two career starts against the Padres. He allowed 2 runs on 16 hits and four walks, while striking out nine through 16 combined innings in those two starts. This season he is 3-4 with a 4.37 ERA, but he's won three straight starts going into tonight's game. He allowed four runs through 23 1/3 innings in that span.

The game  gets underway at 6:05 pm PT.
