Vote For The Franchise Four In Padres History To Be Honored At The All-Star Game

Vote for the 4 most impactful players in Padres history.

Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

This year at the All-Star Game in Cincinnati, Major League Baseball would like to honor the most impactful players for the 30 franchises in the league. You can also vote for the 4 greatest Negro Leaguers, 4 greatest MLB Pioneers, and the 4 Greatest Living Players. They will be on the field to receive the honors on July 14th.

For the Padres, the choices are pretty understandable. To me, there's no player on the list that sticks out as a "What is this guy doing here" kind of choice. Each of the 8 are generally recognized as the players that are a part of Padres history in some form or another.

The 8 choices for the Padres are Tony Gwynn, Trevor Hoffman, Randy Jones, Nate Colbert, Dave Winfield, Steve Garvey, Jake Peavy, and Adrian Gonzalez. But, of course the list of choices would not be complete without the ever popular "Write In" vote.

Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to vote for the 4 most impactful players in Padres history. You can also vote for the Franchise 4 for other teams if you'd like, but I'm not sure how fun that would be.

So go vote for the Franchise 4.

And try not to go too crazy with the write in votes.
