He was wearing a red and white striped baseball jersey and a hat when he lured the 2nd grader into his car on March 23 and wrapped her head in duct tape. She screamed for help, and several people ran toward the man’s car. The girl was able to get away and the man drove off, sheriff’s deputies said.
Yesterday an arrest was made and we find out this morning that the suspect, Jack Doshay, is the son of a minority owner of the Padres, Glenn Doshay.
Suspect is from prominent well-known family KFMB Channel 8
I reached out to the Padres, but they had no comment out of respect for the family.

Kidnapping Suspect's Father Tried to Stop Therapist's Report: Prosecutors | NBC 7 San Diego
According to a court document, Doshay’s father told the therapist he believed Jack may be responsible for the attempted abduction. He also said his son may have done something similar to in the past.
