The Padres announced within the last hour that they had made some roster moves. The man blamed for all 7 of the Padres' losses, Shawn Kelley, has long been out of options and so he was told by the Padres that he's had a strained calf since 4/23 and would be placed on the disabled list. He presumably responded "But my calf feels fin--- oh."
Meanwhile Kevin Quackenbush, who realistically deserved to be on the 40 man roster since the beginning of the season, has been recalled from El Paso, TX. Now maybe those leads in the middle innings will hold for just a little bit longer.

The bullpen has been pretty shaky considering it was supposed to be one of the best in the league. Here's hoping that our collective hair and fingernails will grow back and we can once again enjoy a lead.
