Spring Training Game Thread: 03/29 Padres vs. Mariners

Allan Henry-USA TODAY Sports

After another come-from-behind victory yesterday against the Rangers on the road, they're back home in Peoria this afternoon to host the Mariners in yet another battle in the Vedder Cup war.  Andrew Cashner will get the ball and make second-to-last start before the regular season. So far this Spring, Cash has given up four runs through 12 total innings, walked three batters, and struck out eight.

Seattle will send J.A. Happ to the hill in this afternoon's matchup. Happ will try to redeem himself after suffering against the Padres in his latest appearance. He went 3 2/3 innings and gave up five earned runs on eight hits. That outing brought his Spring ERA up to 7.27 through 8 2/3 innings of work.
