Game Thread: 07/20 Padres vs. Mets (FSSD Sundays to Spring re-air)

Odrisamer Despaigne is set to take on the Mets in this Sunday series finale at Petco Park. The right-hander has been impressive in his first four major league starts for San Diego. He's kept opponents batting just .202 with two runs scored or fewer each time out, and he's lasted seven or more innings three out of the four times. He'll be facing Zach Wheeler, who hopes to rebound from his last meeting with the Padres, just over a month ago. He gave up four runs on six hits and three walks through five innings of work.

The Friars have been more productive on offense lately and, after splitting the first two games of this series, they look poised to do more of the same against Wheeler. So far this series they've combined for 10 runs. If they can continue this hot streak, they could grab their first series win in nearly three weeks.

The game airs on FSSD at 8:00 PT.
