We're pretty deep into the postseason at this point, and many of the former Friars have been eliminated from contention. Only two of them ever saw playoff action in San Diego, and the elimination of Adrian Gonzalez and the Dodgers means Chris Young is the last member of the 2006 NL West Champion Padres to see action in 2015. Young started and won against the Cardinals in Game 3 of the '06 NLDS. On Tuesday, according to Andy McCullough of the Kansas City Star, he'll be making his first October start in 9 years.
Chris Young will start Game 4.

CY will be taking on 2012 Cy Young Award winner R.A. Dickey. The Royals currently hold a 2-0 lead over the Blue Jays, so Young may have the opportunity to lead his team to his very first World Series. He made one appearance earlier this postseason, allowing one run on a solo homer in four innings of relief against the Astros. If you want to tune in, you can catch the game at 1:00 PM PDT on Fox Sports 1.
