The final series at Petco Park in 2015.

Bad first 2 games, nice last one.

And that's good.

No better way to send your fans home for the last time than to do it with a win.

In the last series, Robbie Erlin was the Series MVP with 83% of the vote after his dominant start against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

In the series against the Milwaukee Brewers, another pitcher dominated his way to a Series MVP.

Ian Kennedy was the Series MVP.

No doubt about it.

No question.

No duh.

11 strikeouts in 6 innings to pick up his 9th win of the season.

He didn't really have a great season for the Padres. Likely, he'll be on his way to a new team in 2016.

But in what may have been his last game as a Padres, he showed the type of stuff that he had last year.

Just too bad that this year didn't go the same.

But, that's just how it goes in this game.

1 more series remains for the Padres.

Just hope we get a good one to close out 2015 for good.
