Ken Rosenthal reports that the Padres plan to introduce OF Wil Myers in a press conference on Tuesday. You never get a second chance to make a first impression and while I'm sure his will be good, it'll be hard to beat Matt Kemp's charming presser.
During Kemp's press conference manager Bud Black was asked where his outfielders will play and Kemp was slated for right field, Upton to left and Myers in center. Rosenthal says Wil is excited and motivated for the opportunity.

*Wil Myers is holding off public comment until his introductory news conference in San Diego on Tuesday, but he already has told the Padres that he is excited and motivated to play center field.
It will be interesting to hear if Myers is adjusting his conditioning to prepare for the position change. Ethier lost weight last offseason knowing the Dodgers again would use him in center, wanting to become lighter so he could better handle the position.
Meanwhile last year's Padres outfielders will likely watch the press conference from home eating Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Therapy straight from the carton as they weep that their careers are effectively over.
UPDATE:
It turns out that we'll be introduced to numerous new Padres tomorrow:
