Padres have 2nd best Extra Inning Win % in Franchise History

USA TODAY Sports

The Padres have 4 games left against the San Francisco Giants and as long as they can stay out of any games that go extra innings or win those games then they'll finish the season with the second best extra inning win % in franchise history.  Even if all 4 games go extras and they win them all they'll never catch the 2001 team who was 8-1 with an 88.89%.  If they lose an extra inning game they'll drop into 5th place.  The safe move here is to end these games quickly, just stay out of the tie ball games so that they can collect their silver medal.
