Game Thread: 09/01 Padres vs. Diamondbacks

Here we go into the last month of the regular season. It hasn't been the easiest or most fun for Padres fans to watch, but there have been some signs of growth and improvement lately, and hopefully our boys can get September started with more of that and less of what we saw in the August finale yesterday.

We get to see hometown boy and former VISTA HIGH PANTHER and ROOSEVELT MIDDLE SCHOOL WILDCAT, Trevor Cahill, today on the bump for Arizona. I still hate rooting against a guy I grew up going to school with and watching play baseball, but I do it for my Padres.

Cory Spangenberg gets the start today! So exciting!!
