As Padres fans, we've all grown up used to being dismissed in conversation and generally poked at by other teams, and the MLB organization as a whole. Most interaction from the outside baseball world is met with empathy, sympathy, and sometimes somebody's satisfaction in rooting for the "underdog". But hatred? We would be hard-pressed to find anybody who isn't a dopey Dodgers fan who would utter the awkward sentence: "I hate the San Diego Padres."
Yet in a survey from Reddit user scolbert08, some shocking results were found.

Fun Facts!
- The most hated team in the world is the Yankees. Users from 31 states overwhelmingly hate the Yankee Empire. Even the Canadians.
- Nobody hates Colorado. They somehow received zero votes, where even the Astros and Padres recieved 3. Even the Mariners collected more than all of them.
- While the world collectively hates the Yankees, Australia has some sort of grudge against the Dodgers. The Opening Series in Sydney must have left a real impression.
- Most of Canada's hate is geared towards the Yankees and Red Sox.
- Somebody in the Northwest Territories of Canada hates the Padres, and Nunavut can't stand the Chicago White Sox. What did we do to piss them off?

There are plenty of low sample-sizes. Canada specifically, places like Nova Scotia and the Friar-hating Northwest Territories definitely boost their state representation. But other trends and highly sampled states still make plenty of sense.
Anybody with a sense of humor can decide what a place like Nunavut hates.
A total of 2,760 surveyed votes and not a single one from our natural rivals in Washington, I think it's time to shift our rival-gaze even further north.
