The MLB Hall of Fame coverage started with a Night at the Museum style introduction. Players, photos and baseball relics alike came to life after the museum is closed to the public. Near the end Tony Gwynn is shown facing the player plaques as Tom Brokaw narrates:
"Our story lies within these walls, triumphs of spirit and losses... we'll never forget."
Beautiful tribute to Ralph Kiner & #Padres great T Gwynn by #MLB Network on their Hall of Fame induction coverage. Simply perfect

During the ceremony there was a moment of silence for Tony and Ralph Kiner. HoF President Jeff Idelson wore a #19 on his lapel as his own tribute.
Gwynn was in the thoughts of many today, but none more so than his family who traveled to Cooperstown for the first time without their patriarch.
