Our boys are off AGAIN tomorrow (seriously? third scheduled / fourth overall off day of the season ALREADY?), but today we get a double dose of Padres!! The team put up some fight at the end last night, but were too little too late and couldn't overcome their defensive struggles. But we can still take both of these games and the series today, so KTF!!
First up we get some breakfast baseball at 9:05am.

Chase Headley is out completely for the first game of the day, which will satisfy a lot of people who are calling for his head. Alexi Amarista will take the helm at third base, which will satisfy TTG. Grandal, who caught Tyson Ross yesterday, will DH today while Nick Hundley makes up the other half of Eric Stults' battery.
Tommy Medica turns 26 today (Sup, Tommy?). Alexi Amarista already had an outstanding birthday game this week. Yonder Alonso's wasn't as good, but he still got a hit and scored a run yesterday. Medica isn't in the starting lineup for the first game of the doubleheader, but it's likely that we'll see him at some point today, so he'll get his chance to perform some birthday magic. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, TOMMY!!
GO FRIARS!! KEEP THE FAITH!!
