Game Thread: 04/04 Padres @ Marlins

After two losses to close out the Dodgers series at home, and already our second off day of the season yesterday, our Friars are back in action this afternoon at Marlins Park. Just over three years ago, the Marlins gave us Cameron Maybin for Edward Mujica and Ryan Webb. Today, Cam celebrates his 27th birthday on the DL. Maybe cake will help him get back sooner.

Happy Birthday to Cam, and Happy Birthday as well to GLB staff writer Erin Heft, and GLBer Winfield's Ghost! And to anyone else celebrating their birthday today! Hopefully our Padres can gift them all with a win.
