Looks like it's a rainy day in D.C. Hopefully it stops in time for the game tonight, but if not at least those of us in San Diego won't have to worry and we can wait it out without having to worry about too much loss of sleep.
Our Padres are a terrible 13-25 all-time on April 25th. That's a 34.21 winning percentage. Luckily for us, the Traveling Jersey is in the house for the game tonight, so hopefully its powers will help stop the rain and bring some good luck to our boys at Nationals Park.
#SotTJ update: the thunder and lightning might indicate a rain delay is coming. I wish I had a pic of the friar umbrella icon. @gaslampball

With Chase Headley placed on the DL, get ready to see more starts from Amarista at third, starting tonight. One of last night's heroes, Xavier Nady, will make the start in left tonight after Seth Smith hurt himself running out of the box in the series opener.
GO FRIARS!! KEEP THE FAITH!!
