Today we get our first look at FSSD's new multimedia pregame show, Padres Social Hour.
Alongside his broadcasting and other social media duties, Jesse Agler will take the helm as the show's host. Padres Social Hour, which is to be filmed in the new Club 336 at Petco Park, will air every day of the 2014 season. It will center around anything and everything people are talking about regarding the team on social media. This already makes it a much more appropriately-named show than #SDLive and that's a good start for the new program.
Hosted by Jesse Agler, and joined by a rotation of co-hosts consisting of Padres alumni, broadcasters and members of the local media, the show will focus heavily on the social conversation surrounding the team. Additionally, each show will feature special guest appearances by Padres players, coaches and front office executives.
Last month, the Padres had fans vote for the new logo to accompany the show via social media (specifically Twitter). The winning logo is the one shown above, which spoke to the Friar-loving members of the Padres fan community.
Tune in to Fox Sports San Diego at 5pm to see the inaugural episode of Padres Social Hour.
