Yesterday we were told that Chase Headley would get an MRI so doctors could get a look at just how seriously he strained his calf.  Today Corey Brock tells us on that it was diagnosed as a Grade 1 strain, which I had to look up to find it's considered the most mild of strains, with less than 5% muscle fiber damage.

"The last day and a half has been a lot better than the first day and a half," Headley said. "I'm able to walk around pretty much normal now, which is a good sign. But it's feeling better than it did a couple of days ago. It's definitely improved a ton.

If team medic and closer Huston Street is right Headley will feel 100% in 2 weeks but need to take one more week off just to be certain he's in the clear.

It seems like the general consensus is that the team is lucky this happened so early in Spring.
