NLDS open thread: Giants at Nationals, Cardinals at Dodgers

Al Bello

The Arena League teams have a travel day today, so it's an all-NLDS Saturday. Up first is the second game between the Giants and the Nationals. Old friend Jake Peavy and his new team won yesterday; they'll send veteran Tim Hudson to the mound today. The Nationals will try to even the series up behind starter Jordan Zimmermann, who threw a no-hitter in his last start. Personally, I wouldn't mind if he broke off some of that Johnny Vander Meer action.

Today's Lineups

SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS WASHINGTON NATIONALS
Gregor Blanco - CF Denard Span - CF
Joe Panik - 2B Anthony Rendon - 3B
Buster Posey - C Jayson Werth - RF
Pablo Sandoval - 3B Adam LaRoche - 1B
Hunter Pence - RF Ian Desmond - SS
Brandon Belt - 1B Bryce Harper - LF
Brandon Crawford - SS Wilson Ramos - C
Travis Ishikawa - LF Asdrubal Cabrera - 2B

That game begins at 2:37pm PDT, and will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1. Then, at 6:37pm, over on MLB Network, the Cardinals and Dodgers will play the second game of their series. The scheduled starting pitchers are Lance Lynn and Zack Greinke; I'll post the lineups when they become available.
