Game Thread: 09/03 Padres vs. Giants

Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODA

We've got our rookie southpaw on the mound and we're coming off a great win in the series opener yesterday. This game will break the tie for NL West Cellar Dweller and one team will come out on top. San Francisco may be above San Diego geographically, but after tonight it'll be the Padres on top of the Giants in the division.

GO FRIARS!! KEEP THE FAITH!!

Lineups: Only one left-handed hitter in the starting nine for our Padres tonight. The hot-hitting and newly-extended former Princeton basketball player Will Venable will bat second against the lefty Bumgarner. Marco Scutaro is out of the Giants' starting lineup today and Tony Abreu will get the start at second base.
