Whether or not the big league club can salvage their series finale with the Giants this afternoon, there will still be at least one winner in the Padres organization today.
Austin Hedges and Reymond Fuentes will both take the field in the SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game. Hedges, batting 9th, will be the battery mate for Mets pitcher Noah Syndergaard on the U.S. team. Fuentes will play left field and lead off for the World team.
