Padres improving after sluggish start

The Padres have been on a bit of a hot streak recently. They've won 8 of their last 11 games and frankly look like a different team than the one who started the season. They still seem to have plenty of weaknesses but are finding ways to win. It's a big improvement after being tied for worst start in franchise history after 20 games.

With 13 wins over the first 31 games, the Padres are tied with the inaugural 1969 team and 6 others in their franchise history. The best of those teams played in 1978 where they finished with 84 wins. The worst was in 1969 when they finished with only 52. I guess what I'm saying is, it's still early. There's no telling how this season will turn out.
