Short Story:
This past week I found myself in Vegas for a few nights. The Padres were playing the Cards and I was debating on betting on either Tuesday or Wednesday's night game. I knew there was no way they would win both after winning the first. Sweep the Cardinals? Yeah right.
So I texted Jbox, Dex and Kev for a consensus. Jbox really felt there was no way the Padres would have lost on Wednesday. Kev pretty much thought they would lose both games, and Dex was too busy to realize anything at all. Anyway I put down $10 bucks on Wednesday's game. I laid a twenty on the counter and the dude behind said "Twenty on San Diego!" I was like "Better just make it ten". He nodded in agreement.
Moral of the story: Kev and Vegas think alike.
Padres go for the series win today, and hopefully continue to claw their way up that standings ladder just a little bit at a time.
