Let's start with the ratings so far:
- Game 3: WIN NUMBER ONE (6.5 GLBSR)
- Game 4: The numbing sensation of another loss (2.909 GLBSR)
- Game 2: The Padres make things look respectable after everybody stops paying attention (2.517 GLBSR)
- Game 1: Edinson Volquez loses us a game like a billion to two (2.269 GLBSR)
It's one of those things where after you lose a few games you start to wonder to yourself if you're ever going to win and you figure, sure we're gonna win eventually. We started off having to fly out to the East Coast and the freezing cold, continue our travels to city a mile above sea level and, over a week after everybody else in the league has had a chance to actually play a game and go home and sleep in their own bed, the Padres will host their first game of the season. Still it's obviously not satisfying, but where I would've thought Game 4 was the second worst game of the season, the current rating says it's the second best game of the season. My only thought is that we're already getting used to the feeling of terribleness. I wonder as to what Game 5 will be. Another series loss and the offense is kinda there. At least Jed Gyorko exists and Mark Kotsay is gracing us with his presence.
In other news, can you smoke weed like in the smoking section of Coors Field now? Does this explain anything about Everth Cabrera these last couple days?
