The Brewers haven't won 10 straight since 2003. That year was also the last time they swept the Padres, in Milwaukee, a year after their last sweep at Petco Park. But everything has gone right for the Brewers over their winning streak, and gone wrong for the Padres over their losing streak. Tonight is the night the Padres divert from that trend and Edinson Volquez shuts up (at least for one night) all the people who like so totally KNEW the Latos trade was an awful idea.
GO FRIARS!! KEEP THE FAITH!!
Padres winning percentage on April 24th via Gaslamp Ballmanac: 45% (18-22)
Lineups: Once again the 3-4 hitting tandem of Chase Headley and Carlos Quentin will try to lead the offense and get some runs on the board for our pitching staff. The rest of the lineup remains the same as last night's as well (with the obvious exception of the pitcher).
Padres lineup 4/24 vs. Brewers: Cabrera SS, Venable CF, Headley 3B, Quentin LF, Alonso 1B, Denorfia RF, Gyorko 2B, Hundley C,Volquez P
