Padres Broadcaster Andy Masur has audio of Padres Outfielder Carlos Quentin admitting he did talk to Dodgers pitcher Zack Greinke over the phone during his suspension.
Quentin was suspended 8 games for his part in a benches clearing brawl. Greinke suffered a broken collar bone in the melee. The clavicle break is expected to keep him off the mound for at least two months. Both players seem like they're at the point where they want to put the fight behind them.
Carlos Quentin describes the phone conversation with Greinke as being productive, personal and private. The three Ps of a good conversation.

"I did speak to Zack. First I thanked him for taking the time to speak with me. We were able to talk and have a good productive conversation. The details of that conversation are personal and will remain private."
