I'm not sure what I can say about this game that the box score doesn't. Clayton Richard was awful tonight, and that's really all that happened. Sure, the bullpen was excellent, shutting down the Brewers for 7.1 innings, allowing just 5 hits and 2 walks while racking up 6 strikeouts. And the offense did knock in a few runs (though they also left 9 men on base). But at the end of the day, all you can do is look at that second inning and throw your hands up in disgust.

The series wraps up tomorrow as Edinson Volquez takes on Marco Estrada at 7:10 PM. Hopefully the Padres will just pretend they're playing the Dodgers and avoid the sweep.
