Once Again, Padres Prove to Have Some of the Best Fielding Fans in Baseball

A fan makes a great catch on Betancourt's homer Monday night.

USA TODAY Sports

Last night, Yuniesky Betancourt hit a three-run shot to left field in the first inning against Jason Marquis. Obviously bad for the Padres, but it gave one fan a chance to show off his fantastic fielding skills.

Notice how he squeezes his way past a couple of seats, jumps up to grab the ball with both hands, falls on his butt on a set of concrete steps, and comes up to show that the ball was caught cleanly and held onto for the duration of the play. Impressive, dude. Very impressive. Now how's your batwork?
