Catching up on Ratings, Game 16: Rate the first loss to the Giants

Let's catch up real quick so that we can move on.

USA TODAY Sports

The trouble with getting this particular game in late is that it came off of the sweep of the Dodgers, but should have been rated before the second loss to the Giatns. If you'll recall, it was a pretty competitive game right up until time ran out and the San Diego Padres lost in a walk off.

In my mind at the time, it was a relatively satisfying loss. Tough to continue a streak on the road against the Giants, etc. But don't let the second game of the series cloud your judgement! Pretend like it's Friday Night.

Actually, just speaking personally, I hate when we lose to a walk-off partly because I like it so much when we win with a walk-off. So maybe it really was a depressing thing.
