If you were hoping for Chase Headley to make some kind of magical appearance tonight at Dodger Stadium, your hopes will not be fulfilled. Corey Brock says that Chase is going to be in Lake Elsinore tonight and will likely make the drive up the 15 to join the Padres tomorrow.
On the one hand, it would've been great to see him tonight. On the other hand, it makes for some kind of exciting reappearance tomorrow night. I am on the proverbial edge of my seat.
If you're just joining us and the San Diego Padres season, the Padres are 3-10 and currently in last place in the National League West.
But at least they've got a sense of humor.
