Tonight is the TinCaps' home opener after starting the season with a 3-3 road trip. After winning their first three games, Ft. Wayne dropped one to Great Lakes and two more to West Michigan. They were outscored 28-14 in those three games, a far cry from their 24 runs scored to only four allowed in their first three.
Joseph Ross, who also started the season opener, will take the hill for his second start. He was outstanding his first time out, striking out four batters over five shutout innings while allowing only one hit and one walk. It was the first professional win for Tyson Ross's little brother; he was 0-4 in 15 starts last season and didn't factor in the decision in his only 2011 appearance.
First pitch is at 4:05pm PST. Free audio is available online via 106.7 The Fan.
