We saw how well the Padres could play yesterday. All aspects of the game - pitching, defense, and hitting - were sound, and the crowd at the home opener was rewarded with a decisive, exciting win. Hopefully the team can build off of it and give us another solid victory in the Tony Gwynn Opener tonight.
