Coming off a good win against the Dodgers yesterday, our Padres head to Goodyear this afternoon to take on the Indians. Edinson Volquez will toe the rubber in his second Spring Training start and his last start before going to pitch for the Dominican Republic in the World Baseball Classic. His last time out, he tossed two shutout innings, allowing just two hits and a walk and collecting four strikeouts. Joe Thatcher, Tommy Layne, and Dale Thayer are also scheduled to pitch today.
#Padres today at #Indians: Forsythe 6, Venable 9, Kotsay 0, Guzman 7, Blanks 3, Ransom 5, Amarista 4, Baker 2, Decker 8. Volquez to go 3.

Meanwhile, Cleveland will send righty Ubaldo Jimenez to the mound for three innings. Jimenez pitched two scoreless in his first start this Spring, and he will try to build on that today against San Diego. Out of the bullpen, we should expect to see Matt Albers, Rich Hill, Bryan Shaw, and Scott Barnes.
