This will be his fourth official start this Spring and he'll try to improve on a 10.29 ERA. He made an additional start last week when our Padres played an exhibition game against the Netherlands. In that outing, he gave up two runs in four innings of work against the Dutch.

Tonight, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico will face off at AT&T Park in the World Baseball Classic title game. Edinson Volquez pitched his way to a win last night, despite issuing walks to the first two batters he faced and giving up an RBI groundout in the first inning to give the Dutch an early 1-0 lead. Volquez ended up only allowing two hits in five total innings against the Netherlands, helping the Dominican Republic stay perfect (7-0) in the WBC and advancing to tonight's title game.
Catch tonight's final at 5:00pm on MLB Network to find out if our Padres will have a WBC Champion on the team this season.
