Clayton Richard will get the start and toss four or five innings in today's game against the Angels. His last time out, he pitched three innings before the rain put an end to his outing. Prior to that, he pitched two shutout innings against the White Sox in his only official start of the Spring. He issued two walks, but held Chicago hitless.

The Angels will give the ball to Joe Blanton, whose last start was also rained out. In his outing before that, he gave up one run on one hit (a solo home run) over two innings pitched against the Cubs. He also collected a couple of strikeouts in his Spring debut.
